"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven;
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog, and yes I am a cytologist. I am ashamed to say that I did not know that song came from a bbible verse.
I quote a Bible verse every Sunday, especially one that is close to the feelings and circumstances of that day.
One day, I will be feeling silly but the next serious.
One day, I will be feeling well but the next day sick...
Each day has its purpose and its way.
Thanks for reading.
here via Michele. :)
I didn't know these words were from the Bible either but thanks for the lesson!
Take care.
I knew it was a bible verse, but I couldn't get the song out of my head.
Very beautiful verse.
And song.
The Byrds' version of Ecclesiastes 3 is in the mail.
You email disk quoted has been exceeded. No Byrds.
It's very likely I was at fault in causing the mail service rejection.
Thanks everyone for thinking and reminiscing about these amazing words.
A special thanks to L'Envoi who tried 4 times to send the song to me. I am appreciative of his patience and willingness to follow through.
