Before Genesis...

I have various pieces of paper placed in the front cover of my Bible:
  • memory phrases to help me memorize the books of the Bible.
  • a list of items to pray about from the book, The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie O'Martian.
  • scriptures regarding the gift of the Holy Spirit
  • a quickly made mind map of questions regarding women teaching in the church
  • sermon notes from the parable of Jesus about the two debtors in Luke 7:36-50
  • recipes from a Ladies Meeting for Mexican Lasagna and No Cook Cookies

J. Andrew's haiku today gave me the idea for this post.

Thanks Stephen!

TnChick,
It is kind of a meme, isn't it?

Killired,
That was a great party. Thanks for the invite.
All FFMB was invited actually. It's not too late to check it out.

Let me know, Andrew.

i like your title for this post. them sticky notes indeed come before Genesis' page, hehe. I have similar pieces of paper but they're stuck in between the pages of my Bible, which of course doesn't serve the purpose of being a reminder, rather it becomes a bookmark for the page I left off, LOL!

See you tomorrow at FFMB practice!

I have a bible that has been passed down from generation to generation through my mom's family that is well over 130 years old. I have a lot of photographs of friends and family in it.

Chrixean,
Bookmarks are even better. It shows you've been reading.

Mr. 12 Step,
What a treasure, spiritually and genealogically!
