Sad News
I just found out that my Grandmother, whom we stayed with when we went on holidays, has cancer. I noticed that her color wasn't right but she didn't complain of any pain or discomfort. Her daughter took her to the doctor the day after we left.I am feeling Grief for I probably won't be seeing her alive again but abundant Gratitude for the we got to spend together this summer. My sister said that it was God's timing.
Amen
It is a blessing that you saw her when you did. Cancer can be a hard attack but chemo can keep it at bay for a long time.
I'm so sorry. This reminds me all too much of my aunt that pasted from cancer and recently a friend. I'm glad you got to spend time, as Pearl has said. I hope treatment will help. In the mean, send your grandma pictures and poems with your love and affection. I'd start a memory book...of the good times you shared, etc. Hope that your grandma lives for a long while.
