On to the Next One

I was watching a travel show with my family a couple of evenings ago. It was about Switzerland. I am very afraid of heights so even watching the footage from the mountain tops made me feel uneasy. The finale was a shot of a mountain where you had to actually travel through an ice cave to get to the top. The travel host said you had to be careful not to walk too fast for the air was thin.

I said to my family how I would feel if I went on such a trek. My Middle Daughter said, "You would want to go up every mountain after that."

That is how I am doing now. I am up high where the air is thin.

I don't think I would go up there -- nothing I need to see there. :)
Good to see you back! Don't wait so long for the next one. :)

Welcome back!!!

I have been to Switzerland. The Swiss Alps I believe, and the ice cave should be the glacier.

It is totally awesome. I felt insignificant against the mighty mountains and the sheer size of the glaciers.

Andrew Bro, You will see plenty once you're up that high coupled with thrilling experiences. Well, maybe because this is from a guy living in the tropics.

Glad you're back, Carol. March on!

Hi dear Carol. So good to hear from you. I am so afraid of heights. Even up on a ladder I get a flip flop in my stomach and I get shakey and break out in a sweat. I guess up on the mountain the view is breathtaking and would be worth the fear. Maybe?

Hey Carol - Just stopping in to say hello. I hope life is still grand in the mountaintops.
