Michele sent me your way, Carol. I hope you and the band are generating lots of hits.
I just reread two of Jack London's books last month and read one of his short stories for the first time. While I liked them all, I liked them more when I was a kid.
Erin, Don't worry, I'll add it on as soon as I can after you post it.
Which Jack London novels have you just read, Utenzi? I imagine you enjoyed the stories as a child as they are so adventurous but I think that London has a lot more going on under the surface as well. I'm finished Sea Wolf but it takes me awhile to write the review.
Barbara, I am so pleased to have you as a member of the band! Can I use the picture of the flutist on your blog in the next update of new band members?
Ugh! I have the picture, but with everything that has been going on I haven't had time to scan it. I promise I will try to tomorrow! Sorry!

I read Call of the Wild, White Fang, and I think the short story was To Build a Fire but I'm not sure, Carol.
ReplyDeleteCarol,
ReplyDeleteI joined the band as a flute player. What a wonderful idea! Thanks for inviting me. I'm in the band again!
Ok, I haven't quite missed practice since by my clock there's half an hour before Saturday. I'll get to it.

Pearl,
It is okay to be friendly on a Saturday.
